DIY Samurai Armor set: Do-maru "胴丸" type armor

This kit is recommended for veteran model builders as it will require shaping of the metal sheets with a hammer, as well as some knowledge on binding armor parts together to complete it.

Each of the A.M.K. (short for Aluminium Model Kit) Samurai Armor parts are designed after actual armor parts used in the Sengoku period.
The metal pieces in the kit come only in a basic undercoat so that you can paint it with a color you like and add all sorts of decorations such as the Makie "蒔絵" or Hakuoshi "箔押し" gold leaf techniques.

Made of Aluminium, it is not only light but resistant to rust; unlike the traditional armor.
It is the perfect armor to wear all-day, minus the fatigue! With better mobility, you conquering even more territory wouldn't be a problem!

Some of the items on A-Janaika Japan is custom-made. It means that there's customization needed or it takes some time longer than other crafts on A-Janaika Japan.

Here’s a simple step-to-step guide about the process of ordering made-to-order items:

  1. Once we receive your first email, we make contact with the craftspeople/workshops, then get back to you with more details.
  2. If you're happy with the details, you confirm via email, and include your shipping information. We send you an invoice, which can be paid via PayPal.
  3. Once we receive confirmation of your payment, we place an order with the craftsperson/workshop.
  4. We keep you updated on the progress of your order, and as soon as it's finished, we ship it to your location.

Delivery Time:

It takes from 4 days to 3 weeks after you receive a shipping notification email from us. You can use a tracking code included in the email to check the shipping status.
