This works represents the most famous scene at the Battle of "Kawanakajima", which is famous for its fierceness. In order to represent Kensin's magnetism, we have added golden color to Kensin's armor and clothes, meanwhile have recreated the special sword which has no shell. Only people who do not fear being hurt will use a sword without shell, which is the part of a sword protecting one's hand from rival's sword in battles. On the base of the works, you can see the Japanese word, which was Kensin's symbol painted on the troops' flag. This product does not have the stone-base.

Uesugi Kenshin

He was known as Takeda Shingen’s greatest adversary. While Takeda was known as the Tiger of Kai, Uesugi Kenshin was called the Dragon of Echigo. Some even revered him as a god of war.

Uesugi Kenshin is said to have a high sense of morality. When the Takeda clan’s supply of salt was cut off during the war, Kenshin helped them by supplying salt to them even though they were at opposite sides of the war. He couldn’t feign ignorance at the news of Takeda’s people’s suffering due to the supply shortage. This story is later turned into a famous Japanese proverb, “Sending salt to an enemy”.
